This
is Adam's 1970 Olds. Its powered by a supercharged 496 chevy
and a little nitrous oxide. The B&M mega blower provides the boost
and the nitrous cools it.
 This
combination
makes serious horse
power and allows for excellent street drivability. The power is than
passed to a Freddy Brown turbo 400 and on to a ford 9-inch to get the
power to the ground. Both Adam and
Anthony's cars were built and painted by Adam and Brian of Long Island
Performance.
Visit
longislandperformance.com
to see these cars and others as they were built. If you are planning
to build a race car, street car, or show car, go see Adam and
Brian. They do it all, from custom
chassis work, installation of electrical and performance components
such as MSD boxes, Nitrous, ladder bars, suspension components,
pulleys, etc. Everything from a simple roll cage to a 4-link or
ladder-bar set up with a 14-point cage.
This
is Anthony's 1968 Olds. Powered
by a 468 chevy with a BDS
871 blower, Freddy
Brown turbo 400 and a fab-9. The 4-link suspension does a great job
getting the power to the ground and the Aerospace
Component brakes do a good job of stopping this beast.
This
car has the best of everything. Recaro interior, billet wheels from
Budnik with matching steering wheel; but best of all is its ability to be
street driven on pump gas.
Anthony drives this car everywhere, including to bald hill, which is
about 50 miles each way from his home. You can see both cars
at Bellmore train station on Friday nights.
